The Champagne Brasserie is a great french restaurant in Broadbeach.  This review was written by my friend Louise. Her short review has me wanting to go try the delicious French cuisine!  

She has also gone out on a limb with her statement.....

...the French fries are "the best I have ever had anywhere"

Louise gets to eat out a bit more than I do, so I cannot say I have tested her theory!  Yet!

This restaurant is run by a husband and wife team since 1997.  Their first restaurant was in Melbourne and won several "Hat" awards from The Age Good Food Guide - so they certainly know what they are doing and have a great track record.

I hope you enjoy this review of this french restaurant, I cannot wait to check it out myself - especially those French fries!

Opening Times
Lunch - Tuesday to Friday 12noon till 2.00pm
Dinner - Tuesday to Saturday 6.00pm to 9.30pm
Bookings essential. 

Champagne Brassiere is a popular local French restaurant in Broadbeach just outside the main hub.  It is located under the Hi Ho Beach Apartments at the beach end of Queensland Ave.  The ambience of this cosy restaurant is right out of France!

The menu has a large selection of typical French cuisine – lamb shanks, duck, onion soup, rabbit and much more.  

There are no shortages of choice here and the French fries are "the best I have ever had anywhere". 

The wine menu is also very good with some wonderful small winery selections and some age on some of the wines.

3 course set menus available for dinner and 2 courses for lunch.  A la carte is also available.

They are set up to cater for small groups up to 70 guests and there is some undercover alfresco dining.

Don't forget to book, otherwise you will likely miss out.

A wonderful restaurant where you should try all three courses.
