Gold Coast Airport Transfers

There are five main options for transfers to and from the Gold Coast Airport.
  • Pre-arranged pick up
  • Airport Shuttle Bus
  • Taxi
  • Helicopter transfers to some locations
  • Airport Car Rental - drive yourself
Pre-arranged transfers mean you can sit back, relax and enjoy the journey without battling traffic and directions!

Start your vacation on the right foot!
If you don’t have the luxury of having a friend to pick you up, it is well worth organizing your Gold Coast Airport transfers before landing in the Gold Coast.

Prearrange a pickup with a local transport company

  • Limousine for ultimate luxury use Gold Coast Limos for your limosines in the Gold Coast.  I have some friends who swear by them and have not been let down once.  They are even good for last minute bookings if you get stuck - but try to book ahead, as you don't want to get caught short!
  • Chauffeur driven sedan or people mover for a hassle free transfer.  BCT Transfers offer a door to door service for airport and other transfers for up to 6 people.  Meet and greet at the airport direct to your accommodation can be quite a delight after a long trip.  BCT are a reputable and reliable company with well kept vehicles. Sporting equipment can be carried on roof racks or in a trailer - several options available - just ask. BCT are very helpful and offer a great service.
  • Charter bus for larger groups Gold Coast Limos' sister company Gold Coast Coaches have transport options up to 64 seater coaches for larger groups.
  • Airport Shuttle bus – Con-X-ion offer Gold Coast Airport Transfers to most areas of the the Gold Coast. Prices depend upon destination.  Discounts for children, pensioners and a great family ticket (check the T's & C's).  The Roo Pass is a great way of wrapping up your Gold Coast theme park, attractions, shopping and airport transfers.  Buying your tickets online should save you too and it will be all organised so you can relax.  If you have a large family or lots of luggage you might be better to go for the door to door service of a chauffeur driven people mover - see above.
  • Helicopter transfers direct to your accommodation – fast and easy! Only available to selected locations. Gold Coast Helicopters.

Airport Taxi Rank

There is a Taxi Rank at the Gold Coast Airport.  Before you take the taxi, make sure you have an idea where your accommodation is and an approximate price.  If not, you could get a nasty shock.

At peak times you may have to wait for a taxi - or keep this number in your phone - 131 008 - all taxis on the Gold Coast are booked through this number!

Airport Car Rentals
You can organise car rentals at for pick up at or near the airport.  Check that you aren't paying an airport surcharge.  Sometimes it is worth the inconvenience of going off the airport to a close by car rental firm to save the airport surcharge.
