Sanctuary Cove Boats in the Marina
Sanctuary Cove boats in the Marina
Life revolves around the marina!
Sanctuary Cove, situated at the northern end of Australia’s Gold Coast, is a complete holiday destination in itself.
  • Luxury accommodation
    • 5-Star resort hotel
    • golf course villas
    • waterfront villas
    • apartments
    • private houses
  • Restaurants and cafes
  • Shopping village
  • Village Theatre and Cinema
  • Marina
  • Golf
  • Rec club
  • Health and beauty spa
  • Full resort facilities
It’s a great place to relax and enjoy our fantastic Gold Coast weather.

The thing I like most about this area is the Golf Buggies!
Sanctuary Cove Buggy!
Th Buggies even have
special parking spots.

It’s so cool to pick up the bread in the morning from the bakery or meander down to dinner in the evening on a Golf Buggy – you really cannot help but feel on holiday!

And if you want this feeling all the time – well there is always the option to stay permanently!!!

Sanctuary Cove has some great villas, houses and apartments for sale or rent.
There are many restaurants and cafes to eat at, and I quite enjoy lunch at GB's at the Cove with family on a Sunday.

On the weekend there is often music to keep you entertained whilst you enjoy catching up and great food.

Golf Information
The Pines
The Pines golf course is the only Arnold Palmer signature Golf Course in Australia.  It is rated as one of the most challenging in the Country.

A private members only course available to Sanctuary Cove Country Club members.

If you want to play this course and you are not a Country Club Member – book in and stay at the Hyatt Regency Sanctuary Cove and you too can play this very special course.

The Palms
The Palms Golf Course is open to anyone.  Bookings required.  Includes a practice putting green, chipping holes and driving range.

Beach Information
Sanctuary Cove is on the Coomera River - there is water but no beach!

The Hyatt Regency has a resort pool with a beach. This is great for the little ones who need to make sandcastles and feel sand between their toes.

Best of all, you can keep an eye on the kids without touching the sand. Relax on a sun lounger and enjoy the service from the excellent staff at the Hyatt – perfect!!!

If this experience isn’t enough beach for you - real beaches can be reached by boat or car.

Best beach by boat would be the pristine beaches at South Stradbroke Island – usually you have them all to yourself!

Broadwater beaches at Paradise Point, Labrador or Southport are within about 20 to 25 minutes drive.

Main Beach is the closest ocean beach and will take about 30 to 35 minutes by car.

For directions and other information I recommend you use Google Maps Australia.  This will open in a new window, select the get directions tab and then type in your starting point and where you want to go.  I find the format the easiest to use and follow.
Not found quite what you are looking for?
Hope Island and Ashmore are great locations including Golf Resorts and other types of accommodation.

Main Beach offers luxury hotels and apartments in an beachside location that is generally quieter than neighbouring Surfers Paradise.

Further south Broadbeach is ocean beachside.  Jupiters Casino and excellent restaurants and cafes galore!

When is the best time to visit?
That depends upon what you want to do, when you can come, your budget and what kind of weather you'd prefer! Check out my guide to the best time to visit the Gold Coast.
