similar but not exactly the same as the Gold Coast and there are
beaches!
Cyprus Travel SecretsI've been to Crete and several of the Greek Islands as well as Athens, but never to Cyprus. Cyprus is one of those places in the Mediterranean that I have on my bucket list to visit for it's history, culture and sheer unspoilt beauty. I love the way Helen describes those special little tidbits for holidaymakers. Cyprus is not just for sun, sea and sand, those in the know head for the hills or the unspoilt west of the island where the plains give rise to alpine forest filled with the fresh pine and wild herbs. The food sounds simple but tasty. These parts of Cyprus sound so unspoilt and perfect for a great getaway from everyday life.
