Sneak in early in the month for a great beach holiday or do the Theme Parks and miss the crowds!

But beware! If you get your timing wrong – you’ll be sharing it with the graduating schoolies.

It’s hot, the water’s warm and most of the kids are still at school.

Tips for Travelers to Gold Coast in November

For Australian Visitors

Big tip here – if you are not a Schoolie don’t visit Surfers during Schoolies week! If you are a Schoolie then lots to do but you will need to register for the events and book accommodation early.

If you come before Schoolies week, you can enjoy all that the Gold Coast has to offer and so great accommodation deals.

Air-conditioned accommodation is highly recommended.

For Visitors from Overseas

Highly recommend accommodation outside of Surfers Paradise during Schoolies Week – although most areas are busy. You will need to book ahead.

The Pan Pacific Masters Games is held bi-annually in the Gold Coast (even years). Events held in various sporting locations across the Gold Coast which are not in the middle of the main tourist areas – so you will most likely need your own transport if planning to attend.

Try Chocolate Pudding Fruit at Tropical Fruit World – yes you read that right!
Dive with the sharks at Sea World
Cool down with a day at Wet ‘n’ Wild water park
Swimming between the flags
Build sandcastles on the beach at 5.30am!
Try body boarding in the surf
