Gold Coast theme parks Locals Pass Expiry Date

I was about to purchase the locals pass for my family, and I noticed that the expiry date is now the end of Feb 2012 What happened to June? They've always gone for 6 months ending june and december havent they, it doesnt seem like much of a deal when we only have a couple of months to use them, unless you live nearby which I don't. It would be more like a treat every so often for my kids to go but after reading this new info I dont think I'll be buying them now which is a real shame....

Teri, it is confusing. The Locals Summer Pass is a short promotion for 2011 to end of Feb 2012 to cover the summer period and to provide a deal for locals who did not take up the National VIP pass offer which was withdrawn in October.

The Locals Summer Pass covers unlimited entry to the three theme parks - Sea World, Wet n Wild and Movie World until end of Feb 2012, and also (if you are quick) includes a single entry to the Movie World White Christmas shows which run frm 10 to 18 December 2011.

These are the best deals on offer for locals at this time.
