Kid Friendly Hotels in Surfers Paradise AustraliaWhere are the kid friendly hotels in Surfers Paradise?
The other alternative, is Surfers Paradise Marriott Resort and Spa, but it only has limited facilties. At least they have a go! Other than that, the best you will get is the kids under 12 eat free deal at Holiday Inn. Paradise Resort with Kids ClubFull marks to 3½ star Paradise Resort Surfers Paradise with an amazing kids club and kids entertainment zone for babies and toddlers right through to 12 year olds. It gets my top vote as one of the most kid friendly hotels in Surfers Paradise. As well as the kids club, the resort has probably the most family friendly room configurations. It reminds me of the european hotels I've stayed in, where they have small rooms off the main bedrom with bunk beds in for the kids. It helps to give parents privacy.
The resort itself is pretty basic and it is only a 3½ star. But if you are after a proper kids club with structured activities each day to keep them happy and even motivated to be a part of the kids club then Paradise Resort is your spot! Definitely one of the most kid friendly hotels in Surfers Paradise. Marriott Surfers Paradise Resort and Spa - Kids Club OptionsMarriott Surfers Paradise Resort and Spa also has a kids club that caters for children from 3 to 14 years. It is a small facility that has limited resources and space and is on demand only, they don't actually man it daily. They will run three sessions daily, but you need to give them a few hours notice. There must be 2 or more children booked in. If you have children that are quite different in their ages and therefore their needs, they probably won't have the most enjoyable time. In the warmer months and with your permission, they may get to go to the fabulous Marriott swimming pools for a play and a swim, but that will be dependent upon circumstances. We had a similar situation when we attended a conference in a resort in the Sunshine Coast with a similar facility. Our children are 6 years different in age. The older one was bored out of her mind as they catered for the younger one and left the big one to entertain herself with nintendos and other electronic games. At $45 per 3 hour session, this so called kids club is quite a disappointment for such a large and prestigious hotel. You certainly wouldn't go with the intention of putting your children in the kids club very much. Consider it more to be a child minding service rather than a kids club. They don't have nearly the same facilities that Paradise Resort has, but I guess at least they try to be one of the kid friendly hotels in Surfers!
