Look at that beautiful humpback whale waving at us
I have been whale watching since 2000. From as far south as Merimbula in the southern end of NSW, in Port Macquarie and now here in Coolangatta. And believe me - this is the very best I have ever encounted whales. The season in the Gold Coast is just about to start. We head out for the first time this season on Saturday 29 May and I can't wait. I am getting so excited - I spotted my first whale this morning off Point Danger and was jumping for joy at that fabulous vapour spraying into the morning air. Look out world here we come for a fabulous whale watching season - hope you can join us for a whale of a time this season - by all counts it should be a great season.
