Family Options For Value At Theme Parks
by Theresa A
(Samoa)
My family and I are coming to Gold Coast and are looking for family options for theme parks that will offer us the best value.
Our family consists of 2 adults and 3 children ages: 16, 14 and 11.
What is the best option for us if we would like to visit: Wet n Wild, Movie World, Sea World, and Dream World.
We are from Samoa and this is our first family vacation ever away from the islands. I hope that it will be enough time for us to enjoy such theme parks.
Thank you, Theresa

I would allow a day for each theme park you mention and you will still have time for some of the other activities around the Gold Coast.
There are a couple of things I need to let you know. Firstly, at the Gold Coast theme parks, children are classed as 3 to 13 years, so your 14 and 16 year old will need adult tickets.
There isn't a combination pass that covers all four of the parks you want to visit, however, the best value to see SeaWorld, Wet n Wild and Movie World is a VIP Pass.
This pass is not always available so please check our theme park passes page which has the latest information. These theme parks do not have a family pass option.
Dreamworld is not part of the same group so you would need to buy a ticket for them separately. The only other option is to get a Holiday World Pass from them which covers both DreamWorld and Whitewater World. They have a family pass option which is for 2 Adults plus 2 children, however you are 4 Adults plus 1 child because of their age restrictions.
Based on what you have mentioned, the best value option for just these theme parks is to buy a combination pass for the SW, WnW and MW and then an individual day ticket or World Pass for Dreamworld. You can purchase these online ahead of your visit.
I would also suggest you have a look at the other deals and combination passes, which may offer you some extra activities with good discount.
I hope this answered your question, please leave comments or feedback below and don't forget to like, tweet or share this to spread the word.
Cheers
