The COVID-19 Pandemic has had a huge impact on local Gold Coast businesses, which rely heavily on visitors from Queensland, interstate and overseas.

Northcliffe SLSC - not much to look at from the outside.
Breakfast at Northcliffe Surf Club - just brilliant!
When my sister was visiting recently, we had a breakfast at Northcliffe Surf Lifesaving Club (SLSC). Northcliffe is right on the beach between Surfers Paradise and Broadbeach.
When we arrived, as visitors, we had to sign in before we could go upstairs to the bistro for our breakfast.
It was my first time at Northcliffe Surf Club, and it definitely won't be my last.
The food was fantastic, and the view was breathtaking. And the price... was very reasonable.

You can see the big breakfast, eggs benedict and the kids pancakes. All delicious!
Here's a video I took in the bistro. It is a bit shakey but you can see the views!
Highly recommend this surf club for breakfast. Has anyone tried it for lunch or dinner?
