Do pensioners get a discount for Gold Coast theme park and other attraction entry?

Pensioner and concession rates at the theme parks have been a moving target over the last little while. You will need to check with the deals you are looking for.

Sometimes you see one price for everyone 3 and over years - with no concession prices shown at all.

Sometimes you can see a child rate and concession rate quoted. If you see those, then scroll to the bottom of the page to check the details to check if you are eligible.

General Answer
In general, Australian and NZ pensioners (definition of a pensioner does vary from attraction to attraction) can receive a concessional ticket to enter Gold Coast theme parks and attractions.

The theme parks usually restrict it to Australia and New Zealand pensioners, but I notice that some of the other attractions recognise overseas pensioners and concessions.

It appears that one of the main requirements is that you hold a valid Seniors or Government Pension Card or you are over 65 years of age and can prove it.

Make sure you know what is required, especially if you buy your tickets online, because you will need to show proof when you go to the gate to gain entry.
