Theme Park Pass Prices

Confused by Theme Park Pass Prices!

I notice that there are 2 prices advertised on several websites for the MovieWorld /Seaworld /Dreamworld theme park tickets eg $49.99 and $79.99. Is there any difference between the passes?

What's the best price for visiting all 3 theme parks mentioned above? I'm planning to purchase for 5 adults and 2 kids.

I will answer your question as the passes and tickets stand today December 2011, but it will also depend upon when you visit as theme park passes, deals and offers for the Gold Coast theme parks change from time to time.

I have inserted a box to the left which is kept up to date with the latest offers around or you can check all current theme park offers on the tours and tickets section of this website.

Firstly, I think you are confusing the passes (which usually means multiple entry tickets to one or more theme parks) versus tickets (which are usually single entry to one theme park tickets).

The prices you have quoted I would suggest are individual theme park entries to each of the theme parks you mention. The $49.99 would be a child ticket and the $79.99 would be an adult ticket.

You could save on entry by purchasing a combination pass for the two related theme parks Sea World and Movie World.

You would then look at buying DreamWorld tickets for each of your party. These tickets would only give you a single day entry.

If you thought you might want to go back to Dreamworld more than once or go to the water park attached to Dream World - Whitewater World then you might consider one of their combination passes such as a Holiday World Pass. These passes are also available as a family pass (2A plus 2C) which can save even more for a family.

Unfortunately, Dreamworld does not have any combo tickets with MovieWorld and Sea World as they are owned by different groups.

To recap, you can find all current theme park offers on the ticket and tour section of our website.

I hope that has helped explain the options, if you want to contact me personally, use my contact form or you can leave comments below and I will answer further for you.
