How To Get From Jupiters in Broadbeach To Harbourtown outlet shopping?
The four main ways are:
Hire a car and drive yourself
By Bus using public transport
Get a shuttle bus from your hotel to the theme parks
By Taxi - expensive, but definitely an option.
It takes about 20 to 25 minutes to drive there by car depending upon the traffic. It is quite a straightforward journey. Jupiters is just off the Gold Coast Highway, and you basically follow that north through Surfers Paradise, Southport and up to Labrador. Just past The Grand Hotel at Labrador, near Sandcastles the highway turns inland from the coast and Harbourtown is about 2 kms from that point on the right hand side.
Check out maps.google.com.au for detailed directions or if you hire a car I highly recommend paying extra for the GPS options! Saves lots of headaches and time on your precious holiday.
Drive Yourself To Harbourtown
If you are comfortable driving on the Gold Coast then hiring a car is definitely very convenient, faster and often about the same cost as the return transfers for a day of hire (that depends on the type of car you hire etc).
Hiring a car can also be a good option if you have a few people you are travelling with, shuttle bus fees soon add up when there are two or more of you going.
Harbourtown has plenty of parking and it is free parking too.
For car hire in the Gold Coast I now use a car hire comparison tool where you can select different pick up locations such as Gold Coast and Brisbane Airports or Surfers Paradise.
As I mentioned above, it takes about 20 to 25 minutes to drive from Jupiters at Broadbeach to Harbourtown - depending upon the traffic and time of day. If you get a GPS you may be able to go a different route to avoid these road works, but it is too hard to describe all the ways you can go!
Shuttle Bus Transfer Options For HarbourTown
Probably the easiest option is to get a shuttle bus to pick you up directly from your hotel. You can book them online and pick the date and number of passengers and then give the pick up location as your accommodation. Most Gold Coast theme park shuttle buses will pick up from Jupiters at Broadbeach.
Travel time on a shuttle bus will depend a bit on how many other stops they have to make after they pick you up.
Options for shuttle transfers are:

Public Transport Transfer Options For Harbour Town from Broadbeach Jupiters is quite conveniently placed near the public bus route with a short walk to the Gold Coast Highway. However, in my opinion, getting to Harbour Town on the public bus can be a bit of a pain if you don't get a direct bus and have to change buses.
The direct buses take about 40 to 50 minutes each way and will cost approximiately AUD$10 for an adult daily return ticket, and approximately AUD$5 for a child.
There is a bus stop at Harbour Town so that is nice an convenient, but anything you purchase you will have to carry from the bus stop on Gold Coast Highway at Broadbeach to Jupiters.
