Harbour Town Shopping Centre The Largest Outlet Shopping On Gold Coast

Harbour Town Shopping - Outlet and Discount Shopping on the Gold Coast

Harbour Town is probably one of the most famous or recognised discount shopping areas on the Gold Coast. Harbour Town is certainly the largest with many big brand national and international names represented here. HarbourTown is an attraction! You can spend the day here shopping, eating and even going to the cinemas too!

As well as the discount brand shopping that HarbourTown is famous for, you will also find a variety of general shops, including chemist and supermarket.

Harbour Town is where everyone thinks of when you ask:

Where is the best discount outlet shopping in
Gold Coast
?

It is definitely a fantastic place for brand name factory outlet shops and discount shopping on the Gold Coast.

Reading Cinema Harbour Town just in case you get bored shopping!
I find it irritating for general stuff, probably because I am not a great shopper! I find you have to either know what you want and go for it, or else be prepared to browse.

A good way to get around that is to go on an shopping tour where the tour guides can quickly point you in the right direction! On a shopping tour, Harbour Town is likely to be one of the places you visit.

If you are planning on going to Harbour Town Shopping Centre then why make even more savings? How? As my guest! This very special discount shopping offer costs you nothing but can save you even more off the great bargains to be had at Harbour Town.

You don't have to go on a tour to enjoy HarbourTown. You can easily spend the entire day browsing and shopping here. There are over 129 Australian brands and International brands outlets to choose from!

When you get bored you could catch a movie at the Reading Cinemas 14 screen Cinemaplex.

There's bound to be something you would want to watch!

There are also more than 20 alfresco restaurants and cafes for some great food treats.

As well as the discount brand shopping the staples are covered too. The discount fruit barn is great for fruit and vegie bargains and some other great food treats.

Woolworths Supermarket was refurbished in 2008 and was one of the first stores with the new do it yourself check outs!  It's worth going in just to use one of those!

There's a large Bunnings Warehouse store, just in case you feel in the need for something DIY!

How To Get To Harbour Town

It is most likely that you will have to get transport to Harbour Town, unless you are staying in the close by. Treasure Island Holiday Park is the closest accommodation to Harbour Town Shopping Centre and you could walk, though if you have lots of bags you might need a taxi back!

Assuming you aren't staying close enough to walk, there are a couple of ways to get to Harbour Town. If you have a hire car, driving is pretty straight forward. All the parking is free and open air. There is no undercover parking at Harbour Town.

Another cost effective way to get there is to use Con-X-ion transfers, they do airport and theme park transfers but include Harbour Town in their schedule. The most cost effective way is to get their Roo Pass which combines airport and other transfers and you can save quite a bit of money.

Con-X-ion (incorporating Door-2-Door Airbus now) are my preferred option for getting around to theme parks, airports and Harbour Town. They have pick ups from accommodation across the Gold Coast. You can find more information about Con-X-ion and Roo Pass on my page about them.

Local buses go frequently to and from Harbour Town. Check with Surfside Bus Lines for more information.

If you want to go on an organised shopping tour, Harbour Town may be part of the tour, but you will not get a whole day here. Try a shopping tour if you want to get a taste of the discount shopping across the Gold Coast.
