The COVID-19 Pandemic has had a huge impact on local Gold Coast businesses, which rely heavily on visitors from Queensland, interstate and overseas.
During this time, it is hard to keep the website fully up to date with all the changes. In the meantime here are some resources for visitors. Lone Star Tavern Mermaid Waters

Child Friendly Dining at Lone Star Tavern Mermaid Waters
They have a great outdoor and indoor play areas and seating so you can keep an eye on them.
They offer kids meals as well as show bags with colouring pencils.
The adult meals are good as well.
Would recommend this, they also have a kids movie night on Tuesday nights.
The staff are really good with the kids as well.

Thanks for the heads up and review of Lonestar Tavern at Mermaid Waters on the Gold Coast.
I assumed this was a Lone Star Steakhouse, but on further investigation, this is not related to that chain of steakhouse restaurants and is in fact a Tavern with accommodation at the Quality Hotel at Mermaid Waters. Easy to make that connection, but this is a very different atmosphere and dining experience.
Lonestar Brasserie is located within the Tavern and is where I believe Joyce was referring in her review.

The Lonestar Tavern itself has bars and other places for eating, with different operating hours but these are the hours for the Brasserie.
