Gold Coast Markets Guide

Markets on the Gold Coast are quite diverse. There are pure arts and crafts markets, general markets, night markets and farmers markets. All are different, and all appeal to different people.  This guide helps with some information on where, when and what you can expect at the many different Gold Coast markets.

Broadbeach Art & Craft Market

When

1st & 3rd Sundays of the month.  8am to 2.30pm

Where

Kurrawa Park, Broadbeach (Near Kurrawa SLSC)

What

Arts, crafts and original produce.

Broadbeach Lantern Market

When

Fridays 6pm to 10pm September to July only

Where

Broadbeach Mall, Broadbeach

What
Arts, crafts and original produce.

Note this market is seasonal.  Great for a night out with the children. Enjoy an early meal in the Broadbeach Mall and then stroll through the stalls.

Bundall Farmers Markets

When

Every Sunday.  7am to 12noon

Where

Gold Coast Turf Club, Racecourse Drive, Bundall

What

Farmers produce, fresh and pre-made foods and gourmet treats. Plus other handmade produce.

A sneaky way to see the Turf Club without the horses!  Great market that the locals really enjoy.

Burleigh Heads Art & Craft Market

When

Last Sunday of the month.  8am to 2.30pm

Where

Justins Park, The Esplanade, Burleigh Heads

What

Arts, crafts and original produce.

Carrara Markets - Iconic Gold Coast Markets

When

Every Saturday and Sunday.  6am to 4pm (Breakfasts from 6.30am)

Where

Corner Gooding Drive and Manchester Road,
(Nerang - Broadbeach Road), Carrara

What

Arts, crafts, jewellry,  clothes, shoes, watches, leather items, plants and tools. On the food front fresh fruit, vegies, meat, seafood and bakery items. Plus gourmet stalls and much more.

Over 400 stalls!  Truly massive! It is a truly iconic market in the Gold Coast and well worth a visit. Be prepared for it to be busy, you and 25,000 others will likely visit during the weekend! There is a courtesy bus, and free parking.

Coolangatta Art & Craft Market

When

2nd Sunday of the month.  8am to 2.30pm (also 4th Sunday in 5 Sunday months)

Where

Queen Elizabeth Park, Marine Parade, Coolangatta

What

Arts, crafts and original produce.

Marina Mirage Farmers Markets

When

1st, 3rd & 5th Sundays of the month.  7am to 12noon

Where

Marina Mirage, Seaworld Drive, Main Beach

What

Gourmet farmers produce, handmade items and lots more.

This is such a great place to get some really tasty gourmet food, especially if you are staying in an apartment or on a house boat!  Just enjoy the atmosphere and enjoy your food shopping! This is one of my favourite Gold Coast markets.

Miami Organic Farmers Markets

When

Every Sunday.  6am to 11am

Where

Miami State High School
Gold Coast Hwy, Miami

What

100% Organic produce. Seasonal fruit and vegies, dairy products, meats, breads, baked goods, jams, suaces, health foods, herbal teas, jams, skin care products and much more.

This is the only truly 100% organic market in Queensland.  They are pretty strict too and police the stallholders to ensure that everything is truly certified organic.  This is a great market with lots of atmosphere and GREAT food!

Mudgeeraba Farmers Markets

When

2nd & 4th Saturdays of the month.  6am to 11am

Where

Mudgeeraba Showgrounds, Mudgeeraba

What

Local farmers produce and handmade items.

Nerang Fresh Produce & Craft Market

Local farmers produce, arts, crafts and handmade items.

Surfers Beachfront Market

When

Fridays 5.30pm to 10pm

Where

Surfers Paradise Esplanade - Beachside.

What

Locally made items and gifts.  Great to find something unique to take home with you.  You will find lots of entertainment along the way too!

This is a great market to visit as a tourist or a local.  Combine with an early evening meal in Surfers on Cavill Mall and the kids can really enjoy this night activity. This is one of the Gold Coast markets that you shouldn't miss.

Tamborine Mountain Markets

When

2nd Sunday of the month.
