Brisbane Airport is one of two main options for getting to the Gold Coast. It is often the only option for overseas visitors. One really important, and often skipped over fact, is that there are NO HOTELS AT BRISBANE AIRPORT YET!

By that, I mean that there is no accommodation at Brisbane Airport precinct. The airport is quite isolated. That will be changing when the new Novotel Brisbane Airport opens in December 2009. It will be the first hotel in Brisbane Airport precinct.

At the moment the closest hotel I can think of is the Formule 1 at the Gateway Motorway intersection and the other main hotels are to be found in Brisbane city itself.

So, if you are wanting to stay at the airport you will usually be about 6 to 10kms from the airport terminals in a motel or similar accommodation.

Once you have done that then you can order them by distance, star rating or price. It's really helpful!
