Casual Dining at Aqua - Eat-in or takeaway

There are several options at Aqua for casual dining and takeaway.  Click for more information.  

• Harley Seafood - fresh and cooked seafood - fish and chips
• X Coffee - coffee, casual dining breakfast and lunch till 4pm
• Baskin Robbins – Ice Cream   
• Marine Sushi - Sushi - during day only.
• Beach Burgers Café - burger bar, casual dining at Aqua.

What they say about themselves Ice Creams, Sundaes, Shakes and take home packs.  31 flavours. Open from around 11 am till late. (seem to be open whenever I go past in the evening!) What I say What can I say...this is our local ice cream shop!

Kids cones, are great if you don’t want too big a serve.  Although I think we are the only ones who buy this size!  Everyone else we see parades past with two and three scoops! 

It is a great place to stop in for an after dinner treat, or in the afternoon.  
Loads of choice, too much almost!  You can taste test – which is great as they often have new flavours and have a Flavour of the Month.

If it is windy, either get yourself out of the wind to eat it, or else ask for a cup rather than a cone, unless you want to play the lovely “How fast can I eat my melting ice cream” game!

Beach Burgers Café

What they say about themselves Burgers, big breakfasts, chips and café food, plus coffee.  Open for breakfast and lunch 7 days.  Dinner - they do dinner, but I am not sure if they are open every night for dinner or just Friday and Saturday nights. What I say It is seems very popular with locals.

All the dining is outside and they have heaters for the cooler times.  The menu is what you would expect of a cafe called Beach Burgers and the breakfasts look huge!

Dinner is still casual food.  There are often some interesting looking specials that catch my eye as I eat my icecream from Baskin Robbins next door!

When dinner is on, it is busy.  Perhaps that is because it is more casual and probably a little less expensive than the more formal dinner options at Aqua.

It is open for coffee later than X-Coffee.  X Coffee is my coffee stop of preference.  

Marine Sushi

What they say about themselves Sushi open Monday to Saturday 9am to 9pm and Sunday 12.30pm to 4pm. What I say Never eaten here, I love sushi, so I really should.  In fact I will and report back!

• The Lazy Lobster - local seafood is their speciality.

• Aqua on Broadwater Mediterranean Cuisine - Steak and Seafood!

• Lime Leaf Thai - Thai food, but no information yet.

• The Friendly Orca - seafood and just about everything else- CLOSED IN JANUARY 2009

• Nile on Broadwater Egyptian Restaurant - CLOSED IN LATE 2008
