I have secret to tell you.... Nerang Cinemas It's a very well kept Gold Coast secret! Even some of my friends don't know about it! Which is amazing since I tell everyone I meet! Nerang is about 20 minutes from Southport or 25 from Broadbeach. If you are after a Gold Coast movie experience with the family that won't break the bank, you'll be glad you made the trip. |
The cinemas at Nerang are particularly great for family movie goers because the ticket prices are significantly lower than anywhere else on the Gold Coast.
The movie ticket prices at Nerang Cinemas are usually about half or even less than half the cost of a usual cinema ticket!
For my family of two adults and two children, we get change out of AUD$25 for the cinema tickets during the day. I don't mind buying at the candy bar as it is also very reasonably priced.

There are 4 screens. Each cinema is fairly small, but the
complex is modern, clean and the best value you will find by far.
In the holidays it gets busy and the parking can be difficult if you arrive a bit late. I recommend you book ahead online and pick up your tickets and popcorn on the way in. That's what I do. |
Make sure you arrive at least 20 minutes ahead even if you have pre-booked your tickets. One of their quirks is that they can be a bit slow with the tickets and Candy Bar, but it is worth it.
