March Weather in Gold Coast

March Weather in Gold Coast

If we went to Gold Coast in first week of March, would it still be hot, sunny and high uv index?

I can only tell you what the weather should be like, how it will actually be will of course depend on things way out of my control!

March is the beginning of Autumn and average temperatures range from about 19C to 27C although you can get extremes as high as 37C. Probably the best indicator of the type of weather you can expect comes from the fact that the average sea temperature during March is around 23C!

Therefore, you usually have a pretty good chance that the weather will be warm to hot and good for being at the beach.

Personally, I think March is a great month to visit if you like the warm weather but want to miss the crowds and enjoy the Gold Coast at its best.

Hope that was helpful, please leave any further questions or comments below. If you found this helpful, you can Like it, Tweet it and share on Facebook ;-) Thanks for spreading the word...

Thanks J Blackburn from Yorkshire!

I totally agree with your comments about visiting the Gold Coast. I know that the weather is something that people always want to check out - heck I do that myself when planning a visit.

As you so rightly point out, any holiday will be what you make of it, and the Gold Coast certainly has plenty of attractions, activities and natural beauty to make it worthy of a visit regardless of the weather.

Thank you for your comments, I hope you visit my site again soon and enjoy your next visit the Gold Coast.

March weather
by: J Blackburn - Yorkshire UK

I have been on the Gold Coast (Burleigh area) in the months of March, April & May so far and ALL have been brilliant months!, I will be out again with my family in 3 weeks (end of Jan into late Feb 2012) and we can't wait. The weather is so irrelevant when on the GC it is such a magnificent place to visit hence our frequent returns! Even if it buckets down its warm and the sun is cracking the pavements soon after drying it up. My kids were dancing in the rain the last time it poured on us, and it was all of 1 day in a 3 week stay!

Annie - Absolutely cracking site so pleased I found it
