Australian Gold Coast in September
Springtime in Paradise! It's warming up - not that it was cold!
Gold Coast in September is definitely the place to be! Spring has sprung, the flowers are blooming and the local strawberries are the sweetest!
There's plenty to do this month both indoors and outdoors. There's pretty much all the possibilities of the Gold Coast available to you to enjoy.
For lovers of kite-surfing, kite-boarding and windsurfing this is a great time to visit the Gold Coast! I can't promise wind, but statistically it's a windy month here!
You can choose - Broadwater for flat water sports or the ocean for surf sports!
The humpback whales are heading south with their calves! They haven't eaten since leaving Antarctica so they are pretty keen to get home to all that krill!
A whale and calf together is an awesome sight and taking a whale watching cruise is one of the best ways to see this. Don't miss it!
During September being up on Mt Tamborine is a great place to experience the spring flowers and gardens and just a hour north in Brisbane they are celebrating their river with Riverfire and Riverfest. Check out September events for more details.
