Will Weather in July Be Warm Enough To Enjoy Gold Coast

What is is like to visit the Gold Coast theme parks (particularly water ones) in July?

We are looking at second week of school holidays and worried that it will not be warm enough to do everything the Gold Coast has to offer?

Unfortunately, I don't have a crystal ball to say exactly what the weather will be like in the July School holidays, however, I can say that there is certainly much that can be enjoyed on the Gold Coast especially the main Gold Coast theme parks during our winter months.

Often, but unfortunately not always, our winter days are AWESOME! We often have clear blue skies, crisp nights and into the 20Cs during the day. In my opinion it can be absolutely fantastic weather to visit the theme parks, because you are not sweltering in our summer heat!

Dreamworld, MovieWorld, Wet n Wild and Whitewater World are all located away from the coast, so they get particularly hot during the summer.

The two water theme parks, Wet n Wild and Whitewater World warm their water during winter months and a few of the attractions are closed. They also have shorter opening hours based around the warmer parts of the day.

Sea World Water Park closes during winter, but the resort water play area is still open.

Apart from that, you can go to the beach on sunny days, swim in the water, if you feel like it, head out to see the whales on a tour, into the hinterland to check out the rainforest, down to Currumbin to cuddle koalas and feed kangaroos or head up to an idyllic island for a hideaway adventure for the day or afternoon.

There are diving and snorkelling tours that go out all year, jet boating, parasailing, the wax museum, Surfers Paradise attractions... you name it there is PLENTY to do.

I hope I have answered your question. Please let me know if there is anything else I can help with by leaving leave comments or feedback below.
