Australian Gold Coast in September

Wind and water sports on the Gold Coast
Wind and water sports on the Gold Coast in September. Lots to do on the water and the weather is warming up. Just perfect!

Springtime in Paradise

It’s warming up - not that it was cold! Gold Coast in September is definitely the place to be! Spring has sprung, the flowers are blooming and the local strawberries are the sweetest!

For lovers of kite-surfing, kite-boarding and windsurfing this is a great time to visit the Gold Coast! I can’t promise wind, but statistically it’s a windy month here! You choose – Broadwater for flat water sports or Ocean for surf sports!

The humpback whales are heading south with their calves!  They haven’t eaten since leaving Antarctica so they are pretty keen to get home to all that krill!  A whale and calf together is an awesome sight and taking a whale watching cruise is one of the best ways to see this. Don’t miss it!

September also is host to a few festivals, so don't forget to check out the events below for more details.
